The Structures element of our DT curriculum is all about building different kinds of structures and knowing how these can be assembled and strengthened. Children have wide opportunities to explore different types of structure (including frame, free-standing and shell structures) and apply these to a variety of real-life purposes, innovating and designing their own products, and of course learning the skills to build them.
