2024

On Wednesday 31st January the school was alive with the spirit of mathematical competition as we held the finals of our times tables and arithmetic tournament! It was an amazing, if not nerve-wracking event, held in front of our school community. The pupils showed such talent, bravery and resilience to answer rapid fire questions based on number facts and times tables. The standard of recall and fluency was incredibly high. All the finalists were a credit to themselves and the school, showing support and encouragement to each other and celebrating their successes. HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our winners; Jude, Slava, Harry, Jack, Jacob, Ben and Dexter! Same time next year! 

2023

Times Tables Tournament - Following two weeks of qualifying on TT Rockstars and elimination rounds in classes we had our "Times tables and arithmetic Grand Final" in the hall this week. We also were thrilled to welcome parents of the finalists in to enjoy this event. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and exciting morning, in which our pupils relished the spirit of friendly competition and exemplified high standards of rapid recall by going head-to-head in front of the school community...Year Two even needed to go to extra time to find a winner!  Congratulations to all the pupils who competed.
