National Poetry Day: Poems in my Pocket

The children celebrated National Poetry Day on Thursday. This year’s
theme was CHOICE to reflect the choices we make in the world or the children could choose a
poem inspired by any poet. Some children chose to recite their poems off-by-heart or read from
the paper in their pocket! We were very proud of them all! Thank you also to the Governors who
recorded themselves reciting a poem, we really enjoyed those too! Remember there are many
different poems for you to enjoy reading or reciting at any time. Have fun!
