Happy Days is our Breakfast and Afterschool club and is available to pupils of St Laurence’s Primary School.  Children are cared for in a relaxed, safe, secure and stimulating environment that encompasses the Christian Values of our school.  One of the many benefits of choosing our club is that your child will be cared for in familiar surroundings, by friendly familiar faces.

Breakfast Club

Opening times: 7:45am – 8:55am

Cost: £4.50 per child per session

Our Breakfast Club offers morning care for all year groups.  We start the day with some music and a wake-up and shake up.  A range of cereals, toast and crumpets are served if the children are hungry along with milk and water to drink.

We have lots of games and activities for the children to play as well as daily crafts and computer time.

Each morning we have a session outside (weather permitting), playing with balls, Frisbees etc.  At 8:55am your child is taken to their classroom.

After School Club

Opening times – from the end of school until 5:30pm

Cost: £7.00 per child per session

Children are collected from their classrooms at the end of the day and taken to Afterschool Club.  Once the children are settled in they are offered balanced and nutritional snacks and drinks to keep them going until tea time.  We cater for food allergies and will also accommodate any specific dietary requirements.

Whatever your child loves doing, we’ve got it covered!  Our club space is divided into different areas letting your child choose from a variety of activities, including board games, jigsaws, Lego or simple drawing and colouring. 

They can play against friends on the Nintendo Wii on our 72inch screen or relax and watch a movie. Friday afternoon is movie time with popcorn and snacks.  We also have lots of soft toys, dolls, dinosaurs, cars etc, for using their imagination with friends.  They can join in with our daily craft sessions, which include painting, sewing, card making, gluing and sticking.  We are also introducing simple baking and decorating activities.

For outdoor adventures we have full use of the infant playground and trim trail. The large field is ideal for football, playing tig, den making or just relaxing with friends. The playground is great for tennis, netball, ball games, skipping, hoola hooping or just burning off energy.

There are plenty of activities available for your child to choose from and they can do as much or as little as they want.  Each day offers something different but always fun filled.
