Gardening Club
Welcome to St Laurence's Gardening Club.
Gardening Club is working to help our grounds look beautiful. We are working closely with our school Eco Team. We will be looking at plants and how they grow and how to care for them, how to control weeds and pests and encouraging wildlife into our grounds.
This term we have been working hard to make our planters ready for planting. We even made a bug hotel to encourage insects to pollinate our flowers. We are also hoping to grow vegetables for our school kitchen. Over the next few weeks, we will measure out and label our plots., plant some flowers and make sure our plants are watered and fed. Keep your eyes out for our vegetables sprouting!
