We have about 40 children in our choir. Anyone from KS2 is welcome to join and we meet on Mondays after school.
We sing at several annual events. The Autumn Term is full of concerts with local church and community groups, as well as our own harvest and carol services at St Laurence's Church.
In Spring, we often join other schools for the Education Sunday service and prepare for our Easter services in school.
The Summer Term is dominated by our Junior Production, which is always lots of fun. We also sing at the Summer Fair.
As well as preparing for concerts, we have a lot of fun in rehearsals, learning new songs, silly songs and old favourites, as well as trying out musical instruments from time to time.
Thanks to all the people who turn out to support our events. It would not be the same without you!
Mrs Heaton, Mrs Veevers and Mrs Swindells.
I was so very proud of the choir on March 13th when they sang at the Town Hall in the beautiful Lancastrian Suite.
We joined some wonderful performers from several Chorley schools and we enjoyed amazing dance and song performances before singing our own two numbers: 'Anytime you Need a Calypso' and 'Through the Years'.
The children behaved immaculately, sang beautifully and appreciated all that they saw and heard, especially the visit at the end from Olaf himself!
